Intro & New Features
CCM’s next shift in focus for 2023 is in the new CCM Next line. The Next line is a more affordable option for the recreational player who’s still looking for a low-profile look, good flexibility in their gear, and high-level protection. These shoulder pads feature dual-layer front construction, JDP design caps, a vented front base, and additional coverage in both the front panel and clavicle areas.
Shoulder Caps & Protection
CCM combined aeration with protective padding in these shoulder pads. The Aer-Tec Thermoregulation System includes a fully exposed, foam-only design and ultra-light U-Foam shoulder caps with a durable EPP core that help keep the pads lightweight and mobile, with lots of extra room to move. The fit is also low-profile to further enhance that freedom of movement.
Sternum Protection
The pads have a dual-layer front construction coupled with PE foam and an anatomical molded PE plastic sternum, which allows the gear to have a low-profile design and reliable protection. The vented front base and PE foam are perforated for good ventilation, keeping you cool while you play.
Spine Protection
The CCM Next spine is covered with molded PE to offer a good combination of flexibility and protection in the back area. It has been anatomically molded, meaning it is designed to fit over your back naturally.
Bicep Protection
The biceps are covered with PE-molded caps, similar to the spine, for pro-level protection and comfort. They also include length adjustments to get you the perfect custom fit.
Liner
The pads are lined along the inside with a sublimated liner to keep you cool and comfortable while you play.
Abdominal Protection Piece
The CCM Next includes an extended-coverage front panel for high-level coverage in the abdomen area.
