The 2027 A2000® 1786SS is an ultra-light 11.5” glove that brings strategic internal construction updates to our most iconic infield pattern–a perfect choice for 2B, 3B and SS looking for a new mitt. New for the 2027 A2000®, the Flex Insert™ introduces a leather and felt hybrid piece running from the thumb to the heel, softening one of the most difficult parts of the glove to break in and making it 17% easier to squeeze the glove shut compared to previous models.

The 1786’s shallow pocket and H-Web design allow for fast hands and quick transfers–essential qualities for infielders tasked with turning hard hit line-drives and tricky choppers into outs. The 11.5” size has proven to be a just-right blend of reach, control and quickness for the countless infielders who have made the 1786 a staple at the highest level of the sport since its introduction 40 years ago.
