The large circumference of the slow pitch softball will keep it from getting lost in the length of the glove and will allow the glove to be effective on the infield. (2) This glove combines a high-quality leather material on the catching surface, but the backing of the glove will be made from EVA foam. The EVA foam material is used throughout the sporting goods industry to provide a lightweight material that will also deliver the necessary structure for performance.
(3) With the foam backing, the break-in period for this glove should be really short. There might even be some players out there that can take it straight to a ballgame on day 1.
